| El estudio tuvo por objetivo describir la irrigación de la flexura cólica derecha, con la finalidad de proporcionar conocimientos anatómicos más amplios respecto del tema, y que éstos puedan ser utilizados para mejorar la práctica quirúrgica. Fueron utilizadas 40 piezas anatómicas de abdomen de cadáveres humanos, de ambos sexos y diferentes edades, fijados en formaldehido al 10%, pertenecientes al Departamento de Morfología de la Universidad Federal de Alagoas, Brasil. | The barbary stag is an intermediate feeder ruminant of the Cervidae family. The macroscopic anatomy of the stomach in one adult barbary stag was described. The stomach of the barbary stag was composed of the four classic compartments of the ruminants. The weight of the full stomach was 10.5 Kg. The ruminal papillae were distributed unevenly in the rumen. The maximum height of the cristae reticuli was 0.2 cm. The cellulae reticuli were mostly undivided. The curvatura omasi measured 15.0 cm and the omasum had 15 primary, 10 secondary, 10 tertiary and 17 cuaternaryLaminae omasi. The abomasum had about 12 plicae spirales abomasi.We concluded that the stomach morphology of the barbary stag had characteristics of other intermediate feeder ruminants. |

| The macroscopic anatomy of the stomach in four adult dorcas gazelle was described. Four adult, two male and two female dorcas gazelle (Gazella dorcas) of the Frigya Zoological Park, Enfidha, Tunisie, were used in this study. The ruminal papillae were distributed unequally in the rumen, and were larger and more abundant within the atrium and in the two saccus cecus. The papillae were absent in dorsal part of the dorsal sac. The ruminal pillars had no papillae. The cellulae reticuli were divided and contained secondary and tertiary crests. | La hernia femoral se forma cuando un divertículo peritoneal pasa a través del anillo femoral. Es más frecuente en mujeres que en hombres y en el lado derecho. La literatura es controvertida sobre la forma del anillo femoral quirúrgico, y se omiten sus dimensiones. Por otro lado, no existen explicaciones de naturaleza fisiológica o anatómica que justifiquen la mayor incidencia de la hernia femoral en el lado derecho. Buscando determinar la forma más frecuente del anillo femoral quirúrgico y sus dimensiones, como también esclarecer por qué ocurren más hernias femorales en el lado derecho, realizamos disecciones en 25 cadáveres adultos del sexo masculino. | El aumento del peso de los órganos puede ser signo de enfermedades o anormalidades patológicas. Diversos estudios han llevado a la elaboración de tablas con los pesos estándar de los diferentes órganos en diversos grupos poblacionales. Basados en esta premisa, determinamos el peso del hígado, bazo y riñones en dos grupos de individuos Chilenos, Mapuches (M) y No-Mapuches (n-M), de ambos sexos y relacionamos los resultados con la edad e índice de masa corporal (IMC). | Panurginae have a pair of cuticular depressions in the second metasomal tergum, recognized as lateral foveae of the T2. These structures have been used as systematic and taxonomic characters, although their functions are yet unknown. We aimed a morphological analysis at lateral foveae of three species of Panurgillus Moure, 1998: P. vagabundus (Cockerell, 1918), P. reticulatus Schlindwein & Moure, 1998 e P. flavitarsis Schlindwein & Moure, 1998.
